Open Hands, Open Hearts

So...I decided to start a blog. Nothing fancy. Just my heart sharing life with you. It's amazing how we all go through things at the same time, but never open up to share the reality of what we have in common? Why is that? Is it fear of rejection? Is it for the protection of a facade? Or is it just our human nature? God wants us to open up our lives and share with one another in order to strengthen and challenge each other in our walk with Him. When we hold in the secrets of life, we rob others of wasted time. Generosity begets generosity and stinginess impoverishes. When we live life with an open hand and open heart, we are given the privilege of allowing the very nature of God to heal and restore our own hearts. No one is perfect. All we can do is keep looking to the One that makes our lives perfectly complete. Jesus. So, let me just say, no matter what you're facing today...take it to the Lord in prayer.
